Hi there, my name is Rachel. I am a Medical graduate awaiting the next big journey of life.

 

Seeing people writing calligraphy or letter have always brought me great joy so I decided to pick up lettering with the free time I have on hand in the mean time.

 

Lettering has indeed been a journey for me. It was initially awkward and tense but later on with tonnes of practice and most importantly, patience, every piece I made never fail to bring me a great sense of satisfaction. 

 

After much practice and trial, I discovered that modern calligraphy with water color being the medium is my forte. Next to that will be typography and faux calligraphy.

 

Lettering is a rite to a myriad of feelings to me. It gives me a great sense of peace and a feeling of excitement all at the same time as I go on a creative endeavor.
